Google Calendar – What It Does

Enable AI agents to check availability and book appointments:

  • Real-time availability checking
  • Automatic calendar event creation
  • Send calendar invites to visitors
  • Sync appointments both ways
  • Handle timezone conversions

How to Connect

Step 1: Navigate to Calendar Integration

  1. Go to Integrations page
  2. Find “Google Calendar”
  3. Click “Connect”

Step 2: Google Authorization

  1. Sign in to your Google account
  2. Grant Funneler permission to:
  • View your calendars
  • Create events
  • Modify events
  • Delete events
  1. Click “Allow”

Step 3: Select Default Calendar

  1. Choose which calendar to use for bookings
  2. Select from your available calendars:
  • Primary calendar
  • Work calendar
  • Custom calendars
  1. Click “Save”

Step 4: Configure Settings

Set your preferences:

  • Buffer Time: Minutes before/after meetings
  • Working Hours: When you’re available
  • Meeting Duration: Default length (15, 30, 60 min)
  • Timezone: Your local timezone

Step 5: Enable in Funnels

After connecting:

  1. Go to your Chat or Call Funnel
  2. Navigate to “Calendar Settings”
  3. Toggle “Enable Calendar Booking”
  4. Select Google Calendar as provider
  5. Save changes

Using Calendar Features

AI will automatically:

  • Check your availability when asked
  • Propose available time slots
  • Book appointments with visitor details
  • Send calendar invites to both parties
  • Update events if rescheduled

Manual booking:

  • View appointments in “All Leads”
  • Click on appointment to modify
  • Reschedule or cancel as needed
