Funneler offers two Twilio modes:
Mode 1: Use Funneler’s Twilio (Recommended)
- Easiest setup
- No Twilio account needed
- Funneler manages everything
- Numbers available in 60+ countries
Mode 2: Bring Your Own Twilio
- Use your existing Twilio account
- Access to your Twilio console
- Custom configurations
Mode 1: Platform Numbers (Simple)
How to Get a Number:
- Go to your Call Funnel
- Navigate to “Phone Number” section
- Click “Get a Number”
- Select your country
- Choose area code/region
- Browse available numbers
- Click “Claim Number”
- Number activates instantly
No API keys needed! Everything is managed automatically.
Releasing a number:
- Open call funnel
- Go to “Phone Number”
- Click “Release Number”
- Confirm release
Mode 2: Your Own Twilio Account (Only Available on Agency Plan)
Step 1: Get Twilio Credentials
- Sign up at twilio.com
- Go to Twilio Console
- Note your:
- Account SID (starts with AC…)
- Auth Token (click to reveal)
Step 2: Add to Funneler
- Go to Integrations in Funneler
- Find “Twilio”
- Click “Connect Your Account”
- Enter:
- Account SID
- Auth Token
- Click “Verify & Save”
Step 3: Import Number
Make sure number is in your Twilio account
- Go to call funnel
- Click “Use Existing Number”
- Select from your Twilio numbers
- Click “Configure”
Step 4: Verify Connection
- Make a test call to your number
- AI agent should answer
- Check call appears in funnel analytics
Twilio Status Monitoring
Check connection health:
- Go to Integrations
- View Twilio status:
- ✅ Connected and working
- ⚠️ Credentials expired – need update
- ❌ Connection failed – check credentials
Troubleshooting connection issues:
- Verify Account SID is correct
- Regenerate Auth Token in Twilio
- Update credentials in Funneler
- Check Twilio account is active
- Ensure sufficient Twilio balance
