Creating a Meta ads campaign

Meta Ads Overview

Run ads on Facebook and Instagram with Funneler’s managed service. Our AI creates and optimizes campaigns across Meta’s platforms.

What You Need

Before starting:

  • ✅ Facebook Business Page (we help create if needed)
  • ✅ Target audience in mind
  • ✅ Budget ready ($500+ recommended)
  • ✅ Visual content (images/videos) optional but helpful

Step 1: Access Meta Advertising

  1. Go to “Advertising” in sidebar
  2. Select “Meta Ads” tab
  3. Click “Create Campaign”

First-time setup:

  • Connect your Facebook account
  • Grant Funneler advertising permissions
  • Select your Facebook Business Page

Step 2: Campaign Objective

Choose what you want to achieve:

Available Objectives:

  • Lead Generation: Capture leads with Facebook forms
  • Traffic: Send people to your website/funnel
  • Messages: Start conversations in Messenger
  • Engagement: Increase post likes, comments, shares
  • Conversions: Drive sales or signups
  • Brand Awareness: Reach new audiences

Most Popular: Lead Generation (recommended for most businesses)

Example:

Selected: Lead Generation Why: Collect contact info directly on Facebook without leaving the platform. Higher conversion rates.

Click “Next”.


Step 5: Budget & Schedule

Set your spending:

Budget Type:

  • Daily Budget: Spend up to $X per day
  • Lifetime Budget: Total campaign budget

Recommended: Daily budget for ongoing campaigns

Budget Amount:

Budget: $50/day ($1,500/month) Estimated Results: – 450-600 link clicks – 60-90 leads (10-15% conversion) – $16-$25 cost per lead – 18,000-25,000 impressions

Schedule:

  • Run continuously: Always on (recommended)
  • Set end date: Campaign stops automatically
  • Schedule hours: Run specific days/times

Example for Restaurant:

Schedule: Custom Days: Thursday – Sunday (busy days) Hours: 10am – 8pm (operating hours) This saves budget by showing ads when people are deciding where to eat.

Click “Next”.


Payment:

  1. Click “Proceed to Payment”
  2. Billing info (Stripe)
  3. Authorize monthly subscription
  4. Separate from Funneler plan cost

Launch:

Timeline: Today: Submit campaign 1-2 days: Meta review and approval 2-3 days: Campaign goes live 7 days: Initial results Note: Meta reviews all ads before running. Approval usually within 24 hours.

Click “Launch Campaign”!


After Launch

Campaign Status:

  • In Review: Meta is reviewing
  • Active: Running successfully
  • Rejected: Doesn’t meet ad policies (we help fix)
  • Paused: Temporarily stopped

Leads Delivery:

  • Leads sync to Funneler dashboard
  • Email notifications for new leads
  • Export anytime
  • Integrate with CRM via Zapier
